Mission

At Cornerstones, our mission is to foster a lifelong love for education in students, and not to restrict the benefits of achievement to the classrooms, but to help students realize them in life itself and reach their academic potentials.

Values

Cornerstones has developed its own set of values, which best declare our purpose as operators within the educational space. Our values, namely “TEACH”, can be understood as follows:

Tolerance

This value is to be maintained at the heart of all communications within the organization. We ensure that our students and faculty are motivated to explore the benefits of maintaining clear and respectful regards of one another, with no reservations expressed in any way within, or outside, the school grounds. In itself, tolerance can be paired with patience and resilience, which is the tone we inspire to uphold throughout all the organizational activities.

Equality

Cornerstones is an equal opportunities organization, where we do not practice or allow the segregation of any member or potential member of the school. Our purpose behind an inclusive program is to cultivate acceptance across students with different needs, while allowing each member to maintain his/her identity. We believe in a green future for all, and that would not be possible unless our internal culture permits participative parity in all organizational activities.

Adaptability

As a growing organization, the school strongly identifies itself with this value. We regularly demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing dynamics of the world, and maintain a culture which prudently exercises versatility in learning and coping with the growing academic challenges within the classroom, and social challenges of the world outside the classroom.

Compassion

The school firmly encourages humanitarianism to be the generally-accepted approach in interaction between the faculty, students, and parents. We further stress the importance of this value by indicating that mistreatment between any members of the school will be subject to disciplinary scrutiny by the appropriate authorities of the organization, as per school policy. We believe that the treatment of fellow members of our society should always reflect being fair and empathetic, and with accountability for their welfare, holding complete disregard for discrimination of any kind.

Hope

Our most important value is instilling optimism and confidence to be among the key factors of success in the future. At Cornerstones, we inspire students to become achievers by helping them discover their strengths and the confidence to exhibit them academically and socially. According to Dr. Vicki Zakrzewski, researchers have found that students who are high in hope have greater academic success, stronger friendships, and demonstrate more creativity and better problem-solving.
